Examinations

There are no formal school, end of year, examinations as progress is gauged by teacher assessment. At the end of Year 5 and during the Autumn term of Year 6 the children are prepared for their external examinations, i.e. 11+, Common Entrance, Scholarship Examinations and Outstanding Talent Awards.

Detailed discussions, taking all assessment data, between the Headmaster and parents determine the appropriate direction that each child should take for the next school (for example whether to sit the 11+ exam or not).
