Each class will have several educational visits in a year. These are as diverse as Reception classes visiting Hatfield Forest to go pond dipping, and Year 5 taking part in tours of the Palace of Westminster or the National gallery.
A theatre trip has become an annual event for year six pupils. Children in the Reception year through to Year 5 enjoy an annual pantomime performance in Chelmsford.
There is an annual French residential trip organised by Mme Kiddy for Year 6.

The school provides opportunities to extend pupils’ knowledge of public services and institutions through a good range of cross-curricular projects enhanced by visits to museums, exhibitions, historic buildings and galleries.
